The woman decided to take action and called the 181 Abhayam helpline for women. The counseling team from Abhayam arrived at the scene and the manager apologized for his behavior, citing the pressure of the financial year-end. He promised not to repeat such actions and received counseling on how to treat women in the workplace. The woman chose not to pursue the complaint further and accepted a written apology from the manager.
