Focus on adventure sports is expected to lead to a boost in foreign tourist arrivals in Kerala, according to the state Tourism Minister P A Mohamed Riyas. He highlighted the potential of adventure sports in attracting tourists from abroad. This comes as Kerala witnessed a significant increase in domestic tourist arrivals, reaching a record 218 crore in the year 2023. The state aims to leverage its natural beauty and adventure sports offerings to attract more international visitors and boost its tourism sector.
