Delhi High Court on Monday dismissed TMC leader Mahua Moitra’s plea to stop BJP MP Nishikant Dubey and his lawyer Jai Anant Dehadrai from making allegedly defamatory content against her in the cash for query row. In Moitra’s defamation suit against Dubey and Dehadrai regarding the ‘cash for query’ allegations, Justice Sachin Datta refused her request for interim relief. Moitra was dismissed from her Lok Sabha position after being found guilty by the Ethics panel. She is accused of accepting money in return for asking questions.
