1. Samvidhan Quiz by Ministry of Law & Justice: In celebration of India’s 75th year as a Republic, the Samvidhan Quiz marks the adoption of India’s Constitution, its foundational law. The quiz aims to promote constitutional awareness and understanding among citizens. Registration must be completed by March 24, 2024. The top 1000 participants with the highest number of correct answers in the shortest time will each receive Rs. 1000. Additionally, the Department of Justice will acknowledge the top three entries.
2. Heritage Quiz by Archaeological Survey of India: The Heritage Quiz, conducted by the Archaeological Survey of India and MyGov, aims to educate students about India’s rich cultural heritage. Through the quiz, awareness about heritage conservation is raised. Participants have until May 31, 2024, to register. Ten winners each month will receive a family visit to any monument protected by ASI, along with a complimentary photo at the site.
3. Bow Seat Ocean Awareness Programs: The 13th Ocean Awareness Contest invites students aged 11-18 worldwide to engage with environmental issues through creative expression. It encourages advocacy for positive change and fosters a deeper connection to the changing world. Submissions must be made by June 10, 2024. Cash awards of up to $1,000 are available.
4. UNESCO Clubs Worldwide Youth Multimedia Competition: Youth globally are invited to participate in the UNESCO Clubs Multimedia Competition, leveraging their connectivity to drive meaningful change. The competition aligns with the UN’s sustainable development goals, fostering innovation and creativity. Applications must be submitted by March 25, 2024. Winners will be chosen for each of the 17 sustainable goals, with additional subscriptions for technology learning.
5. The Alpine Fellowship Writing Prize: The Alpine Fellowship supports emerging artists, writers, and academics. Its Writing Prize promotes new ideas in art, literature, and philosophy. Winners receive cash prizes and an invitation to the annual symposium. Applications close on March 1, 2024.
