Three journalists have been booked by the police for abetting the suicide of a man in Telangana. The man, identified as Ravi, had enrolled some people in a multi-level marketing scheme and promised them high returns. However, he was unable to repay the promised amount, leading to pressure from villagers. Allegedly, the journalists threatened to expose him and demanded ₹10 lakh. Unable to bear the pressure, Ravi ended his life after killing his three children. The police are investigating the case and are looking into the call records to identify the extent of pressure exerted by the journalists and others.
