Jana Sena Party (JSP) president Pawan Kalyan met Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and BJP national vice-president Baijayant Panda in Vijayawada on March 10. They discussed the seat adjustments for Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies following the alliance between JSP and TDP with BJP. Mr. Shekhawat came to finalize the number of seats to be shared between the parties. The JSP had earlier announced the names of candidates for five Assembly constituencies and intended to contest in three Lok Sabha constituencies. A BJP spokesperson stated that the seat sharing arrangements will be finalized on March 11. The JSP and TDP are also planning to release their manifesto on March 17.
