The Oscars 2024 nominations have revealed a number of anime films and shorts competing for the top honours. In the categories of “Best Animated Feature Film” and “Best Animated Short”, ten movies have been nominated. The films nominated for “Best Animated Feature Film” are “The Boy and the Heron”, ‘Nimona’, “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”, ‘Elemental’, and “Robot Dreams”. The “Best Animated Short” segment includes “Ninety-Five Senses”, “Letter to a Pig”, “Pachyderme”, “Our Uniform”, and “War Is Over!”. Fans are excited to watch these films but not all of them are available on OTT streaming platforms.
