Business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce company Jumbotail has raised Rs 151 crore in a funding round led by Singapore-based venture capital firm Artal Asia. The Bengaluru-based company will use the funds to scale up its “go-to-market products and services for new and emerging brands.” Jumbotail aims to be fully profitable on an operational basis across its entire network before the end of 2024. With this latest funding round, Jumbotail has raised a total of $143 million in equity funding. The company’s previous funding round in 2021 was also led by Artal Asia. Jumbotail competes with companies like Udaan and Ninjacart in the B2B e-commerce market. The company operates an online B2B marketplace for Kirana stores and offers fintech solutions including payment, credit, and financial services.
