Kanniyakumari district Collector P. N. Sridhar, in the presence of representatives from recognized political parties, began the work of sending electronic voting machines (EVMs) to the six Assembly constituencies in the district. The process started after the initial randomization works were completed, and the voting machines stored in the safe room of the Collector’s office were sorted. Now, the EVMs will be distributed to the constituencies of Kanniykaumari, Nagercoil, Colachel, Padmanabhapuram, Vilavancode, and Kiliyur.
