PM Narendra Modi, during his speech at the News18 Rising Bharat Conclave, made references to Pakistan without explicitly naming the country. He spoke about how those who used to bleed India through acts of terrorism are now suffering and their pitiable condition is visible to all. Modi mentioned India’s role in global growth and how it is being recognized worldwide. He expressed his confidence in winning the upcoming LS polls and stated that the next five years would be crucial for India’s continued growth. Modi also highlighted the overall growth India has witnessed in the past decade and the country’s accomplishments on various parameters.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the new India does not bear the wounds of terrorism anymore but instead teaches a lesson to those who inflicted such wounds. He cited the remarks of Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut, who compared him with Aurangzeb and mentioned the abuse and threats he has faced.

Modi stated that the entire world considers the 21st century to belong to India. He mentioned how big rating agencies and economists have confidence in rising India and attributed it to the significant changes India has brought about in the last 10 years. He pointed out that 25 crore people have come out of poverty, the country has moved from being the 10th largest economy to the fifth, and India’s forex reserves have crossed $700 billion while exports have increased exponentially.

However, Modi acknowledged that there is still a lot more to be done. He highlighted the government’s efforts to employ technology to catch corrupt individuals and how it has become increasingly difficult to hide money trails. He mentioned the recent discoveries of stashes of money from the homes of a Congress MP and a TMC leader, which has left them rattled. Modi noted that the people who used to question why no action was taken against the high and mighty are now questioning why action is being taken against them.

In conclusion, PM Modi expressed his optimism for India’s future and its role in global growth, while also highlighting the challenges that lie ahead.
