In response to Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) expressed its belief that corrupt individuals would be punished with imprisonment. The BJP stated that no one, including Kejriwal, is above the law and that justice will prevail. Kejriwal, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and former chief minister of Delhi, was arrested on charges of corruption. The BJP’s remarks come amidst protests by the AAP against Kejriwal’s arrest.
