Rajnath Singh, India’s Defence Minister, will celebrate Holi with the military personnel at Siachen, the highest militarized zone in the world. Despite facing extreme temperatures of -60°C, Singh will visit on March 24th to boost the morale of the military stationed there. Siachen, located at an altitude of 20,000 ft, is known for its treacherous terrain and natural hazards like frostbite and avalanches.
