Ukrainian President Zelenskyy has announced the dismissal of Oleksiy Danilov, the secretary of Ukraine’s national security council. Danilov had held the post since October 2019. Zelenskyy replaced him with the head of his foreign spy agency. The reason for the changes has not been given. The national security council has a coordinating role on issues of national security and defense under the president and includes top political, security, and defense chiefs.
