New Delhi: Luxury carmaker Audi India reported a 33% increase in retail sales for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2024. The German automaker sold 7,027 units, compared to 5,275 units in the previous financial year. Despite supply challenges, Audi India remains confident in the industry’s potential to surpass 50,000 cars in 2024. Head of Audi India, Balbir Singh Dhillon, stated that the company has witnessed strong demand across its diverse product portfolio. In the March quarter, the company reported retailing 1,046 units in the domestic market. However, supply chain disruptions in the first quarter impacted sales. Audi India also saw a 50% growth in its pre-owned car business vertical in FY 23-24, and a 25% growth in the January-March period compared to the previous year.
