Grasim’s Birla Pivot Crosses Rs 1,000 Cr Revenue Mark in 1st Year, Aims to Cross $1 Bn in Next 3 Years

Within a year of operations, Birla Pivot, Aditya Birla Group’s Grasim’s B2B e-commerce platform for building construction materials, has earned nearly Rs 1,000 crore in revenue, according to the company. The platform offers a wide range of products including cement, steel, plywood, sanitaryware, and tiles. The company aims to surpass $1 billion in revenue in the next three years. Sandeep Komaravelly, CEO of Birla Pivot, highlighted the platform’s vision to leverage technology and create efficient solutions for buyers and sellers. He also mentioned the company’s efforts to address the low digital penetration in the construction industry. The platform currently offers over 35 product categories and has a customer base spanning across various industries. The company’s intelligent Transport Management System (TMS) digitizes processes and enhances operational efficiency. The platform was launched in 2023 with a significant investment. In its recent financial report, Grasim Industries Ltd, the parent company of Birla Pivot, reported a fall in consolidated net profit but an increase in revenue.
