Poor management, lack of training, and want for better compensation will make nearly a third (31%) of women in tech ponder leaving their organisation over the next 12 months, according to Skillsoft’s annual Women in Tech report. When asked to state their reasons for choosing to leave a job or employer, these were the most common factors cited by female tech professionals. The report sheds light on the challenges faced by women working in the tech industry and highlights the need for organizations to address these issues in order to retain their female talent. Skillsoft’s report serves as a wake-up call for employers to reassess their management practices, invest in training programs, and ensure fair compensation for all employees, regardless of gender.
