Defence Minister Rajnath Singh accused the Congress party of never attempting to develop the boundary region near China due to their fear of the enemy. Speaking at a rally in Madhya Pradesh’s Satna, Singh stated that Congress did not carry out development work in border villages and areas because they were scared that it could be exploited by the enemy. In contrast, China continued to develop its border infrastructure. Singh also criticized Congress for demanding proof of surgical strikes and airstrikes carried out by the Indian forces. He emphasized that after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, all facilities have been developed on the borders, considering the villages on the border as the first village. He further added that BJP does not engage in politics of appeasement but aims to satisfy the people. Rajnath Singh concluded his speech by saying, ‘…Bharat main Ram Rajya ka aagaz hokar hi rahega, koi rok nahi sakta hai’ (The beginning of Ram Rajya will happen in India, no one can stop it). He expressed his belief that people in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) believe that their development is only possible with Prime Minister Modi and not with Pakistan. He also stated that PoK has always been and will always remain a part of India. Rajnath Singh appealed to the people to vote for BJP candidate Ganesh Singh, stating that this election is not about an individual but about the country. He concluded by saying, ‘This time people will vote to raise the head of Mother India. Lord Ram has reached his grand mosque leaving the small hut. Now, no one can stop Ram Rajya from coming to India.’ Madhya Pradesh has 29 Lok Sabha constituencies and the elections will be conducted in four phases. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, BJP won 28 out of 29 seats in Madhya Pradesh, while Congress won only one seat.
