Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP President, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, was injured in a stone pelting incident while campaigning in Vijayawada on Saturday night. Jagan was on his ‘Memantha Siddham’ bus yatra when someone in the crowd hurled stones at him. Immediate medical attention was provided and Jagan continued his yatra. The incident has caused tension in the city, with the police initiating an investigation to uncover the culprits. YSRCP functionaries suspect the opposition, particularly TDP, might be behind the attack.
