Rajnandgaon is a Lok Sabha constituency in Chhattisgarh, which covers Pandariya, Kawardha, Khairagarh, Dongargarh (SC), Rajnandgaon, Dongargao, Khujji, and Mohla-Manpur (ST). Santosh Pandey from BJP and Bhupesh Baghel from Congress are the prominent candidates contesting from the Rajnandgaon constituency in the upcoming elections.
In the 2019 elections, Santosh Pandey secured victory with 662,387 votes, surpassing Congress’ Bhola Ram Sahu. In the previous 2014 elections, Abhishek Singh from BJP had won the seat with 643,473 votes, with Kamleshwar Verma from Congress coming in second.
Gondwana Gantantra Party (GGP) has also released its candidate list and nominated Naresh Kumar Motghare.
The voting for the Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha constituency is scheduled to take place on 26th April 2024. The Election Commission has announced that the results will be declared on 4th June, as per their statement on March 16.
