Five Japanese nationals working for Suzuki Motors in Pakistan’s port city had a lucky escape when their van was targeted by a suicide bomber and a gunman. The terrorists tried to hit the vehicle carrying the Japanese nationals who were on their way to the Export Processing Zone. Fortunately, all five Japanese nationals remained safe. Three people were brought to the hospital in critical condition, and unfortunately, one of them succumbed to his injuries. This attack highlights the ongoing threat of terrorism targeting foreign nationals in Pakistan.
