Belagavi district police have arrested a trader and his wife on charges of forcible conversion. Rafiq Bepari and his wife were arrested after a woman filed a complaint stating that she was forcefully converted by them. The woman, who had approached Rafiq for a job, was brought to Belagavi and then pressured into converting. Police have confirmed the arrest of Rafiq Bepari and are investigating the case further.
