The Nifty Auto index closed on a positive note on Monday, with Eicher Motors Ltd, Hero MotoCorp Ltd, and TVS Motor Company Ltd being the top gainers in the pack. On the other hand, Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd., Bosch Ltd., MRF Ltd., and Bajaj Auto Ltd. finished as the top losers of the day. The Nifty Auto index closed 0.94% up at 21812.7. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 44 ended in the green, while 6 closed in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Indian Renewable, Jio Financial Service, and South Indian Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of Hindustan Motor, Premier Exp, Lloyds Steels, Skipper Ltd(PP), and Kalyani Invst hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while MEP Infrastructure, CMI Ltd, Sumeet Ind, Sheela Foam, and GIR Natureview hit their fresh 52-week lows.
