Banerjee calls him a ‘blot on the judiciary’ and denigrating the status of the court. She questions whether justice can be expected from someone who was already associated with the BJP while serving as a judge. Ganguly had ordered a CBI probe into a teachers’ recruitment scam and ordered job terminations, but some of his decisions were later overturned by the Supreme Court. Banerjee challenges Ganguly to first fight the TMC candidate before criticizing her and urges voters to support the TMC candidate, Debangshu Bhattacharya.
