Three leaders of Jannayak Janta Party’s (JJP) Haryana unit have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. The national secretary of JJP, Ashok Sherwal, along with state general secretaries Kusum Sherwal and Harpal Kamboj, joined the ruling BJP at the party office in Panchkula. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was present during the joining ceremony. This comes after JJP’s Haryana unit chief, Nishan Singh, joined the Congress. CM Saini welcomed the three leaders into the party fold and highlighted the works done by the Narendra Modi government in the last 10 years. He expressed confidence that the people will bring back Mr. Modi as the Prime Minister for the third time with a bigger mandate. The BJP has been witnessing several leaders from different parties joining their ranks ahead of the upcoming elections. Polling for 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana will be held on May 25.
