MDH denies presence of carcinogenic pesticide in spice packs

Mumbai-based spice brand MDH (Mahashian Di Hatti) has rejected the allegations of using carcinogenic pesticide, ethylene oxide, in its spice packs. The company stated that it has not received any communication or evidence from regulatory authorities in Singapore or Hong Kong regarding this matter. MDH emphasized that it follows health and safety standards both nationally and internationally. The Spice Board of India and FSSAI have also not received any reports or communication from authorities in Hong Kong or Singapore. MDH is one of India’s leading spice brands, alongside Everest, and is committed to providing authentic and high-quality spices to its customers.
