After wooing everyone with his performance in ‘Animal’ which was filled with several layers and grey shades, Ranbir Kapoor is all set to play Lord Ram in ‘Ramayana’. The actor has already begun shooting for this magnum opus directed by Nitesh Tiwari. While Ranbir plays Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi plays Sita. Fans were in awe of these actors as Ram and Sita when their photos from the set were leaked and went viral.

Meanwhile, Ranbir’s co-star from ‘Ramayana’, Ajinkya Deo, has dropped a selfie with the actor, sharing his excitement for the movie. Although Ajinkya did not disclose details about his role, he confirmed his involvement in the project and expressed gratitude for working with the Kapoors. In the photo shared by Ajinkya, Ranbir can be seen in a casual black t-shirt.

In addition to Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, ‘Ramayana’ also stars Lara Dutta as KaeKayi and Arun Govil as King Dashratha. Reports suggest that Sunny Deol will be portraying Hanuman in the film, while Yash has joined as a co-producer. The movie is expected to be a grand production.

Apart from ‘Ramayana’, Ranbir Kapoor has another exciting project lined up. He will be working with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the film ‘Love And War’, alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. The actor has undergone rigorous training to transform himself from his role in ‘Animal’ to portray the righteous Lord Ram.
