Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone Idea (Vi) have announced their participation in the spectrum auction conducted by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) in India. The auction is expected to commence on March 1, 2022, and will feature the sale of 2,308.80 MHz of spectrum across seven frequency bands. The reserve price for the auction has been set at Rs 96,317 crore ($13.2 billion). The spectrum being auctioned includes frequencies in the 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 2300 MHz, and 2500 MHz bands.
