The internal audit wing of the National Highways Department has stated that 70% of the works relating to the construction of a flyover on Avinashi Road are completed, with the remaining works set to be finished by December. The project was initiated to ease traffic on the congested Avinashi Road. The construction and maintenance division engineers conducted vibration tests and evaluated the structural stability of the construction.
