Kedarnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, has opened its doors for the Kedarnath Yatra 2024 on May 10, 2024. The temple was decorated with 40 quintals of flower petals and helicopters showered flower petals on the devotees. The opening ceremony was decided on Mahashivratri according to the Panchang. The temple had closed on Bhaiya Dooj, and now devotees can visit the shrine by registering online. Registration is important as only a certain number of devotees are allowed at a time.
