External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar accused the Congress of holding Prime Minister Narendra Modi accountable for the errors made by Jawaharlal Nehru in dealing with China. He criticized Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party for misleading the country by making false claims regarding the Chinese occupation in Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh. Jaishankar emphasized the need to recognize the challenge posed by China, while also commending the Indian troops for their efforts in defending the country.
