Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Sunday slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and home minister Amit Shah over Raebareli’s progress. She questioned the BJP’s contributions to the development of the region and listed several initiatives undertaken by the Congress party. Priyanka Gandhi accused the BJP of wanting to weaken democracy and prioritizing the interests of businessmen over the welfare of the people. Raebareli constituency is set to go to polls on May 20. Previously, the constituency has been won by leaders of the Gandhi family.
