A Pakistani intruder identified as Zahir Khan was arrested near the Line of Control (LoC) in Akhnoor sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Jammu district. The security forces noticed him moving about in a suspicious manner and apprehended him. Khan, who hails from Karachi, claimed that he had mistakenly crossed over to the Indian side. An FIR has been registered against him, and the authorities are verifying his statement. This incident comes after the Border Security Force (BSF) foiled an infiltration bid and shot dead a Pakistani intruder in Samba district on May 1.
