Under the recent unfolding of controversies like collecting “mountains of cash” from Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut’s home, suspicion of belonging to TMC leader Partha Chatterjee, the former’s close associate Arpita Mukherjee taken into custody by ED, all have led the opposition to comment upon investigative associations to be biased to parties. Allegations are being put on the ruling party of targeting the opposition. BJP spokepersons Sambit Patra and Amit Malviya however, have given statements of denying any such bias, suggesting that all parties are open to take speculations to court and that corruption will not be tolerated even under the hood of big politicians.
