Following the arrest of Partha Chatterjee by the ED, the former Murmu cabinet minister has yet to give up on his MLA post. Chatterjee admitted in a recent interview that his intentions for his party TMC are pure, continuing to deny any rumours that pertain to him leaving his seat. Currently, the caught MLA is under strict judicial remand in the Presidential Correction Home, and had met with one of his counsels Sukanya Bhattacharya.
