Tennis player Rafael Nadal pushed past the first set to defeat wildcard entry Rinky Hijikata’s Grand Slam debut, and has entered the US open second round, by 4-6, 6-2, 6-3, 6-3. The number 3 champion bagged this as his 65th career victory, and will be challenged against 2015 US Open winning opponent Fabio Fognini. Nonetheless, the Spaniard remains in lead of the Italian by 13-4 in his career. Prior to this, Nadal was seen in New York in the 2019 win.
