After witnessing a 9-week-swell in cases this season, covid-19 is finally being registered at a significant low of around 38,000 cases, furthering down consecutively since 7 weeks. Deaths speculated for this week will also cut to an almost half at 150, more than a 25% drop from 310 July peek. Positivity rate fell to a mere 2%, for the first time ever since June, leaving only a few states that witnessed an increase, including Kerala, Odisha (16%), Bengal (6%) and Chhattisgarh (2.5%).
