In a hit-and-run tragedy, six people sleeping on a road divider were run over by a truck at 1:51 am, out of which two were reported dead on the spot. The speeding truck was crossing the DTC depot signal when it crashed into the sleeping residents in Delhi’s Seemapuri. The remaining four were rushed to a nearby hospital where one was declared brought dead, another died in treatment, and two were severely injured. Police has filed a case against the truck driver and is looking into his whereabouts.
