With the action of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot standing up for the next Congress Presidential elections, the party has taken a hard hit of conspiring events. Leader and loyalist Shanti Dhariwal challenged rival Sachin Pilot’s legitimacy by calling him “traitor” as he is being targeted to be picked up for the next Chief Minister. A mass resignation of Gehlot loyalist MLAs is being explained as intolerance of “the traitors being rewarded” by Dhariwal. Under the rule “one man, one seat” Ashol Gehlot is obligated to leave his CM chair.
