India’s renewable energy thrives when global issues dive

According to a recent IEEFA report, India is now among the top four countries in the world in terms of renewable energy adaptation. While Brent crude anticipated of reaching $100 per barrel and worries for increasing crude oil prices in India too, the nation has come a long way, profiting to 700%, from 1.3 GW capacity in 1947 to 118 GW now. At present, the renewable energy stands at approx. 161 GW, which is ironically short of the goal of Indian government for 2022 of 175 GW. The nation must buck up by 2.5 times faster to reach 2030 goal of 450 GW.
