China has rejected the proposal to declare Sajid Mir, who was accused in the Mumbai attacks, as a global terrorist. The proposal was jointly presented by India and the United States. Sajid Mir, a Pakistani terrorist, was involved in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. This is not the first time that China has blocked the proposal to designate Sajid Mir as a global terrorist. He is also on the most-wanted list of the American investigative agency, the FBI. Pakistan has consistently denied Sajid Mir’s presence and claims that he is dead. However, according to intelligence reports, Sajid Mir is alive and in the custody of the Pakistani intelligence agency, ISI.
