Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer A.V. Dharma Reddy has announced that the Sri Padmavathi Super Speciality Children’s Hospital, currently under construction at Alipiri, will be ready for opening by the end of December. During a recent visit to the site, Mr. Reddy, along with TTD’s Joint Executive Officer Sada Bhargavi and Chief Engineer Nageswara Rao, inspected the progress of the project. Mr. Reddy highlighted that the hospital has already performed about 1,450 heart surgeries and four heart transplants on children as part of the ‘Jeevandan’ program. Although functioning from a temporary structure, the hospital has gained recognition as one of the best in its category in the country. The new building will offer a range of super speciality services, including neurology, neurosurgery, pulmonology, urology, and cardiovascular services.
