CBI Still Awaits Deleted Chats and Posts in Sushant Singh Rajput Case

Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis recently brought attention back to Sushant Singh Rajput’s case during an interview. The CBI has stated that they are still examining the credibility of evidence and that the investigation is ongoing. In the latest development, the CBI is waiting for a response from Facebook and Google regarding a request made in 2021 for Sushant’s deleted chats, posts, and emails.

The reason the investigating authority is seeking this information is to establish what transpired in June 2020 when Sushant was found dead. The CBI believes that the deleted chats and posts can contribute to reaching a logical conclusion in the case.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death in June 2020 led to multiple agencies getting involved in the investigation, including the Mumbai Police, Enforcement Directorate (ED), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The case is still pending finalization as the CBI awaits the crucial technical evidence from Facebook and Google.
