Wordle is an amazingly popular internet-based game. Wordle is a word puzzle challenge where you have to crack a five-letter word in six attempts. The word is there in the grid, one has to randomly type in letters across and down to decipher the daily word challenge.

Wordle was designed by Engineer Josh Wardle for his wife who loved word games. He designed it initially for her, after which it was played by his close friends and family.

Wordle’s unique characteristics were loved by almost everyone who started playing it. It later became a worldwide sensation when NYT bought it for an undisclosed amount to make it accessible to the common people.

Now, the game is available on the official site of the New York Times. It does not require any fishy log-ins or sign-ups and can easily be played on a Pc or mobile browser.

Wordle Rules

While typing in the letters, if the box turns Red- it means letters from your word are not there in the secret word at all.

If it turns Yellow- it means, the letters are there but not in the same position.

If it turns Green means, you’ve nailed it, letters match with the same position in which they are placed.
