Janhvi Kapoor, the young Bollywood actress, is reportedly all set to make her Tamil debut. Known for expressing her desire to work in South films, Janhvi already has a Telugu film ‘Devara’ opposite Jr NTR in her kitty. However, the recent buzz is around her Tamil project backed by Kamal Hassan. The two of them have previously worked in multiple movies, including the iconic ‘Sadma’. According to reports, the Tamil movie will be directed by Vignesh Shivan, who was last seen directing ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Samantha. However, there are conflicting reports stating that Janhvi has not been approached for this project, which is still in the scripting phase. While her Tamil debut is making headlines, Janhvi has other projects in Bollywood as well. She is set for the OTT release of ‘Bawaal’, a Nitesh Tiwari directorial where she shares the frame with Varun Dhawan. Janhvi will also be seen in the sports drama ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ alongside Rajkummar Rao. Additionally, she has ‘Ulajh’ in the pipeline, starring Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew.
