As PM Modi called the BRS government in Telangana “most corrupt”, the Congress poked fun at him by calling it a hint that the BJP is a covert ally of KCR’s outfit ahead of assembly elections, recalling that the party had made similar attacks on the NCP and the NPP. Congress spokesman Jairam Ramesh tweeted that he had written a letter to the CBI director on March 21, after the BJP tied up with CM Conrad Sangma’s party in Meghalaya, seeking that the agency summon home minister Amit Shah for evidence of corruption against the NPP.
