Pet food major Mars Inc has announced its plans to invest ₹800 crore in the second phase expansion of its manufacturing facility in Telangana. The announcement comes after Industries and IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao’s meeting with Mars Inc’s Chief Data and Analytics Officer for Pet Nutrition, Sekhar Krishnamoorthy, in New York. Discussions were held on exploring initiatives in research and development, digital transformation, agri supply chains, innovation, and sustainability. This expansion is expected to create numerous employment opportunities in the region.
