Shares of Five Companies Hit 52-week Highs on NSE

Shares of Integrated Personnel, Pokarna Ltd, Rossell India, Railtel Corp, and HLV Ltd hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday’s trade on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Meanwhile, GNA Axles, Penta Gold, Sanco Industries, FutureLifestyleFash, and Orient Bell touched their fresh 52-week lows. The benchmark NSE Nifty closed 181.5 points up at 19435.3, supported by buying in frontline bluechip counters. In the Nifty 50 index, NTPC, ONGC, JSW Steel, Tata Steel, and Maruti Suzuki were among the top gainers, while Cipla, HDFC Life, Dr. Reddys, UltraTech Cem., and Nestle India ended in the red. The BSE Sensex closed 555.75 points up at 65387.16.

Market participants showed interest in sectors like Telecommunications, Mining, Term Lending Institutions, Power, and Defence. However, selling pressure was witnessed in sectors like Banks, Irrigation & Allied Services, Petrochemicals, Building Materials, and Electric/Electronics.
