Red Bull’s Max Verstappen continued his dominant streak in Formula One by securing his 10th straight victory at the Italian Grand Prix. This win not only set a new record but also marked Red Bull’s 15th consecutive win. Verstappen finished in first place in a one-two finish with teammate Sergio Perez. Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz finished third, earning his first podium appearance of the season. With this win, Verstappen extended his lead in the championship standings over Perez by 145 points. Having now won 12 races this season, Verstappen is on track to claim his third consecutive F1 title. This achievement comes after his win at Zandvoort last weekend, where he broke the record he shared with Sebastian Vettel for the most consecutive wins. The Italian Grand Prix was not without its challenges, as the race was delayed by 20 minutes and reduced to 51 laps due to Yuki Tsunoda’s Alpha-Tauri car suffering a power-unit failure during the formation lap. With eight rounds remaining, Verstappen’s victory puts him in an incredibly strong position to clinch the championship title once again.
