Karnataka CM Proud as Hoysala Architectures Make it to UNESCO’s World Heritage List

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah took to social media to express his pride as the Hoysala architecture gems of Belur, Halebid, and Somanathapura are included in UNESCO’s list of world heritage sites. He stated that this achievement brought immense joy and pride to the state. Siddaramaiah also highlighted the state government’s efforts to provide these sites with international standard infrastructure and protection. Tourism Minister H K Patil also welcomed the decision and traced the journey of these temples towards inclusion. These temples, with their new world heritage status, are expected to attract a significant number of tourists, which will in turn boost the tourism sector and local economy in Karnataka.
