The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet has granted a special package worth ₹4,500 crore to provide relief to families affected by natural disasters, specifically rain and landslides, during the period of June 24 to September 30. This package includes increased compensation for damaged homes. For completely damaged houses, the compensation has been raised from ₹1.30 lakh to ₹7 lakh, while for partially damaged houses, it has been increased from ₹6,500 to ₹1 lakh. This decision aims to assist the affected families and aid in their recovery efforts.
